Merkury, dentsu's unrivaled global data & identity platform, that gives marketers ownership and growth of first-party identity to enable a total experience — turning creative, media and customer experience data into intelligent actions that drive growth and brand loyalty.

The brief was to create a new visual identity for Merkury as the Merkury platform now also combines the power of dentsu's network-wide data products. Considering the meaning of Merkury, I have created a new visual identity that implies a simple, quick read. It stands out in the marketplace while also closely tying into the dentsu brand.

The primary source of inspiration for Merkury's visual identity lies in its association with the element of mercury – liquid metal, often referred to as quicksilver. This connection harmoniously aligns with the brand's data-focused profile, embodying qualities of transformation, flexibility and adaptability, while also demanding responsible, qualified management.

The logomarks of Merkury's three sub-brands are derived from the same fluid shape structure as the main Merkury logo. Just as in the main logo, they abstractly resemble their respective initial letters.
